Goal Driven Counseling is a Black-owned, multi-state, private mental health counseling group of diverse clinicians. We were one of the first 100% virtual group practices in the U.S.

OUR MISSION
Our mission at GDC is to empower our clients in the pursuit of their mental health goals while reducing barriers to care in underrepresented communities through virtual care.
OUR PROCESS
We provide culturally responsive virtual mental health support to our clients through individual (ages 13+), group, and organization services.
"GDC was created late 2016 out of a desire to return to my passion of direct-care after a short time in middle management. After experiencing the stigma still held towards mental health in minority communities, I wanted to get back ground level to modernize and normalize care through the use of technology"

Over time, our goal has evolved as needs and similarities have been better understood across several communities. We desire to use technology to meet the mental health needs of:
- Black/Brown people
- Individuals with disabilities
- Rural communities
- Individuals who otherwise lack access to quality mental health care
- People-serving organizations
- Helping professionals

My goal as the leader of GDC is to increase access to diverse clinical professionals as we utilize technology to aid in reaching mental health goals through an equity lens.
*NOTE: Currently, I am not accepting new clients due to a full caseload. As you explore our team members below, you may also see a notation indicating a particular therapist is not accepting new clients. - Associate Therapist (provisional supervised licensure, part-time hourly employee)
- Clinical Therapist (clinical independent licensure, part-time hourly employee)
Ideal candidates are individuals who take initiative, who thrive in autonomous/independent environments, are dedicated to providing culturally responsive care, and hold a personal commitment to serve underrepresented populations. All team members commit some portion of services to clients who need lower sliding scale fees.
